Member-to-Member Transfers Easier To Find!

Member to Member Transfers are now located under the Transfers Menu. Transfer money to other Firefighters First members. 3D Touch (iPhone 6s and 6s Plus) New!

3D Touch is a pressure-sensitive screen technology in the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. This feature – called Peek and Pop – senses how much pressure you apply to the display, blurs the screen and pops up a list of up to four options with icons and descriptive text.

Quick Balance New!

Stay on top of your finances without having to log in to your account. Just open the Firefighters First mobile app and swipe down on the app. You'll see current and available balances for your checking and savings accounts, recent transactions, as well as due dates and minimum amounts due for your loans and credit cards. Enable this option through the app settings.

Popmoney New!

Now, sending and receiving money is as easy as emailing and texting! As a Firefighters First Credit Union member, you have access to Popmoney - an innovative person-to-person payment service that eliminates the hassles of writing checks or digging for cash. Use Popmoney to send a gift to family and friends, get money to your child at college, or even to pay back a friend. Access this option under the 'More' menu.

Deposit Checks

Using the camera on your phone or tablet, deposit checks anytime! It's simple -- just snap a photo and tap 'deposit'.

Pay Your Bills

Easily make single payments, view or delete pending payments and view your payment history. Get reminders when to pay bills so you never have to pay a late fee. You also can also be alerted when a payment goes through.

Transfer Funds Between Your Accounts

Instantly and securely move money between your accounts – like from your savings to your checking account, for that special purchase or unexpected bill.

Touch ID Advanced Security (iPhone 5s or later, iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, or iPad mini 3 or later)

Touch ID is our biometric fingerprint authentication. With it, you can quickly login to your account on our mobile app – experience security while using mobile banking.

With the tap of a button, find the closest ATM. Tapping the 'Find Me' button in the app automatically takes you to a map showing you the closest ATM location. You can also search for an ATM by ZIP code, city or state.

Text banking gives you access to your accounts via text messages with your mobile device. It's a fast, easy way to look up account balances or recent transactions by sending a text command. Simply text your command to 454545 for instant account information.

Quick Balance

What is Quick Balance?

Quick Balance is a new feature on the latest version of the mobile app. With a single swipe, you'll see current and available balances for your checking and savings accounts, recent transactions, as well as due dates and minimum amounts due for your loans and credit cards.

How do I use Quick Balance?

Open your Firefighters First mobile app and tap on 'More'. Then tap on 'Settings' and you'll see Quick Balance on the menu. Tap on 'Quick Balance', switch the feature on and that's it!

Now, when you open the app, just swipe down to see your information. If you have Touch ID enabled, tap cancel and then swipe down.

Popmoney®

What is Popmoney?

Popmoney is an electronic payment option that provides you with the convenience of sending money to virtually anyone you know directly from your bank account. You no longer need to visit an ATM to get cash or write a check to make a payment. Recipients simply need to have an eligible US bank account.

How do I send money using Popmoney?

Online banking: You will need the recipient's email address, mobile phone number or bank routing and account number.

Mobile app: You will need the recipient's email address or mobile phone number.

• Email address: the recipient will receive an email with instructions on how to direct the payment into his or her bank account.

• Mobile number: a text message will be sent to the recipient with instructions on how to direct the payment into his or her bank account. If the recipient does not respond to the payment notification after 3 days, a reminder text message will be sent reminding him/her to act on the payment notification.

• Bank Account Information (routing and account number): money will be directly deposited into the recipient's account. You will also have the option to send them an email.

What does the recipient see when I send them money?

If you send money using the recipient's email address or mobile phone number, they will receive an email or text message with instructions on how to deposit the payment into their bank account.

If you send money using the recipient's bank routing and account number, the money will be deposited directly into their account. They will only receive a notification if you enter an optional message when submitting the payment.

Will my bank account information be shared with the recipient?

No. Your bank account information will always remain confidential. They'll only see your first name, last name, the message you wrote for the payment and your email address or mobile phone number.

How do I sign up for Popmoney?

If you already use Popmoney in online banking, you are registered to use it on your mobile device. If you already use Popmoney in mobile banking, you are registered to use it in your online banking.

If you're not registered yet, it's easy!

Online banking: Login to your account. Select 'Move Money' and 'External Transfers.' Under 'Pay Other People' click 'Select' then 'Get Started'. Follow the prompts.

Mobile banking: Click on Popmoney, then Enroll Now, accept the Terms and Conditions, and when asked, register your information.

How do I access Popmoney?

Online banking: Login to your account. Select 'Move Money' and 'External Transfers.'

Mobile app: Open your Firefighters First mobile app and tap on 'More'. Then tap on 'Popmoney' and follow the prompts to send money.

Why isn’t the Popmoney page loading for me?

In order to use Popmoney, third party cookies will need to be enabled on your browser. Refer to your browser’s help area to learn how to enable cookies. If you continue to have issues, call us at 800-231-1626.

Can I send money to someone who isn't a Popmoney customer?

Yes, payments can be sent to anyone with a US bank account – the recipient just needs to be enrolled with Popmoney for the payment to be processed.

If Popmoney is available through the recipient's financial institution, enrollment is quick and easy. If their financial institution does not offer Popmoney, recipients can go to www.popmoney.com and register there.

Is there a fee to use Popmoney?

As a member of Firefighters First CU, you don't pay any fees to use Popmoney!

Deposit Checks

How do I deposit a check using my mobile device?

It's simple! Here are the steps:

1. Open the app and tap 'Check Deposit' on the bottom menu.
2. Tap 'To' and select the account where you would like to deposit the check.
3. Tap 'Amount' to enter the amount of the check.
4. Tap 'Front' to take a picture of the front of the check.
5. Tap 'Back' to take a picture of the back of the check.
6. Once you're entered all of the information and taken the pictures, tap 'Deposit' and you're done!

Touch ID is a fingerprint recognition feature that provides user identification through a finger scanner. It is an advanced security features offer on iPhone 5s or later, iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, or iPad mini 3 or later.

  • Log in to Online Banking at the top of the page by using your member number and the last four digits of your SSN, or if it is a business, the last four digits of your tax ID as your temporary password. You will be prompted to change your PIN through this process.
  • Confirm personal account information and accept the disclosure agreement.
  • Create a secure Username and Password for OnLine Banking.
  • Verify your identity by receiving and entering your One Time Passcode.
