Important Notice: Effective February 2016, we will be launching our enhanced Credit card platform, which includes EMV chip technology cards. With this change, Guardian Text Alerts will no longer be available. Please be advised that member accounts are continuously monitored for fraud. Should we ever suspect any fraudulent activity on your account, we will notify you immediately, at the phone number on file. We want you to feel free to use your card with complete confidence. In the unlikely event that fraud occurs, Visa's Zero Liability1 policy means you won't be held responsible for fraudulent charges made with your card or account information. Chip-enabled terminalYour Firefighters First credit card now includes chip-enabled technology. You'll enjoy greater security when making purchases at a chip-enabled terminal since the chip provides better protection against counterfeit fraud.

As the chip technology will soon become the security standard in the U.S., many merchants are beginning to accept chip cards and we want you to be ready!

Easy To Use

Use your credit card to make transactions at the same places you do today. For merchants who have chip-enabled terminals, insert your card and approve your purchase. Otherwise – swipe your card as you normally would.

Accepted Anywhere

Chip-enabled terminals are coming to stores throughout the U.S. so you'll be ready to use your card when you see the new terminals. You’ll enjoy greater acceptance when traveling, as chip cards are common in over 130 countries around the world, including Canada and the United Kingdom.

Receiving Your Credit Card

Enjoy your new credit card at no additional cost. We will replace your current card with a new chip-enabled credit card when it expires or has been lost or stolen. You can request a chip card now if needed, simply call or stop by a branch.

You are able to choose a custom PIN after activation by calling (855) 574-1503.

Travel Notifications

If you happen to be travelling internationally, you may submit a travel form through online banking or call 800-231-1626 and follow prompts to general card inquiries.

Sign Up for Online Banking

Ready to sign up for OnLine Banking? Follow these instructions or give us a call at 800.231.1626

  • Log in to Online Banking at the top of the page by using your member number and the last four digits of your SSN, or if it is a business, the last four digits of your tax ID as your temporary password. You will be prompted to change your PIN through this process.
  • Confirm personal account information and accept the disclosure agreement.
  • Create a secure Username and Password for OnLine Banking.
  • Verify your identity by receiving and entering your One Time Passcode.
  • Select "Yes, register my private computer" if you are using a private home computer, or "No, this is a public computer" if using a public or shared computer (work, library, internet café).
  • Keep your personal User Name and Password private and confidential for future use.
