Life Insurance & Long-Term Care Insurance

Life Insurance

Another important component of an individual’s financial plan is life insurance.  At Firehouse Financial, available through CUSO Financial Services, LP (CFS), we can assist you by explaining the differences between temporary and permanent insurance.   There are pros and cons that need to be discussed when assessing which type of policy would best fit your unique situation and goals.  We can help you establish how much coverage you might need to secure your family’s future.

Long Term Care Insurance

Long term care is the care that might be needed to help assist you with activities of daily living, like bathing, eating and moving about.  This care may be provided in a facility or in the home.   With long term care costs continuing to rise in this country, this is becoming a much bigger concern in our member’s overall retirement planning.  There are several ways to tackle this problem.  One way is to self-insure by saving enough money to be able to cover the costs of possible long term care expenses.  Another way is to look at purchasing Long Term Care Insurance to help cover the expenses and fight rising health care costs.  Long Term Care insurance can be purchased by individuals to provide a daily or monthly benefit to help cover some or all of these future expenses.  These policies can also be purchased with inflation protection to help minimize the rising costs of healthcare.

Please contact us for more details on how we can incorporate this into your financial plan.
