Our journey began at the depth of the Great Depression in 1935 above Fire Station 28 in downtown Los Angeles. A few senior firemen pooled their money in a cigar box to help younger firefighters in need. This common bond created personal and trusting relationships, which has become the foundation of our Credit Union. For the past 80 years, we have remained committed to our legacy of exclusively serving firefighters and their family members.

Our purpose is to improve the financial lives of firefighters, and to this end we actively recruit, hire, and develop talented individuals who share our vision and passion for delivering Legendary Service to our firefighters and their families.

Member Services

The Member Services team helps firefighters improve their financial health, save for the future, and assists with general banking needs. These front line ambassadors are face-to-face with our members and build relationships every day.

Call Center

The Call Center Team answers member calls from across the nation within 30 seconds or less from 7am to 4pm. They provide account assistance, take loan applications, and troubleshoot any problems members may have with online or mobile banking.

The Operations Team takes care of the behind-the-scenes member files, answers member calls, processes wire transfers, and delivers world-class service.

The Accounting Team manages the day-to-day finances of the Credit Union, protecting and maximizing our members' investments. The team also updates and prepares key financial reports for our stakeholders regarding assets, liabilities, and liquidity.
