Is there a fee to use the Visa® Debit Card?

No. There are no monthly, annual, replacement or lost card fees associated with your Firefighters First Visa® Debit Card.

Where can I use my Visa® Debit Card?

Your card is accepted anywhere Visa is accepted, which includes millions of merchants worldwide and online. You can also use it at ATMs within and outside the CO-OP Network.

What is the CO-OP Network?

The CO-OP Network is a nationwide network of more than 30,000 surcharge-free ATMs available to credit union members. You can locate a CO-OP ATM using the CO-OP locator online or through your mobile banking app.

Will I get reimbursed for ATM fees outside the network?

Yes, up to five ATM surcharge fees per calendar month, up to $10 per transaction. To qualify, you must have a combined direct deposit total of at least $1,000 per month for at least two consecutive months on an ongoing basis and you must make your ATM withdrawal from your Firefighters First personal or business account.

What is Visa® Zero Liability Protection?

Visa® Zero Liability Protection means you are not held responsible for unauthorized transactions made with your card, as long as you report them promptly. This protection covers U.S.-issued cards and applies to Visa-processed transactions. It does not apply to ATM transactions or PIN transactions not processed by Visa.

What is tap to pay?

Tap to pay, also called contactless payment, lets you complete a transaction by holding your card near a compatible payment terminal rather than inserting it or swiping. It is faster and does not require a PIN for most everyday purchases.

How do I add my card to a digital wallet?

Your Firefighters First Visa® Debit Card is compatible with Apple Pay®, Google Pay™ and Samsung Pay™. Visit our Digital Wallet page for setup instructions.

How do I activate my card?

Call (844) 688-4721 to activate your card and choose a custom PIN.

What do I do if my card is lost or stolen?

Visit our Lost or Stolen Card page to report the card and request a replacement.

Visa® Zero Liability Protection policy covers U.S. issued cards only and does not apply to ATM transactions, PIN transactions not processed by Visa, or certain commercial card transactions. Cardholder must notify issuer promptly of any unauthorized use. Consult issuer for additional details. PIN= Personal Identification Number.

ATM Rebate Program: Firefighters First Credit Union will reimburse up to $10 per transaction on your first five (5) ATM surcharges per calendar month when using your Firefighters First Visa® Debit Card. Fees will be reimbursed the same day unless your ATM withdrawal is after 3:00 PM PT. Withdrawals after this time or on a non-business day will post on the next business day along with the fee reimbursement. To qualify, you must have a combined direct deposit total of at least $1,000 per month for at least two (2) consecutive months on an ongoing basis and must make your ATM withdrawal from your Firefighters First personal or business account.
