Is there a minimum balance to open a Business Savings Account?

Yes. A $5 minimum balance is required to open or maintain the account, and no minimum monthly balance requirement.

Are there any monthly fees?

No. The Business Savings Account has no monthly maintenance fees.

How does the Business Savings Account work with Business Checking?

The two accounts are designed to work together. You can transfer funds between your Business Checking and Business Savings accounts easily through Online Banking or the FireFirstCU Mobile App, giving you flexible control over your business cash flow.

How often are dividends credited?

Dividends will be compounded monthly and will be credited monthly. Contact the Business Services Team or visit the Business Rates page for the current rate and crediting schedule.

Do I need a business membership to open this account?

Yes. Business membership with Firefighters First Credit Union is required before any business account can be opened. Contact the Business Services team if you need help getting set up.

Are my funds insured?

Yes. All Firefighters First Credit Union deposit accounts are federally insured by the NCUA up to $250,000 per member, per ownership category.
