The right financing lets you make the best decision.
Running a business takes capital. Firefighters First offers business loans for eligible Fire Family members with competitive rates and terms evaluated individually, not through a one-size-fits-all template. Our Business Team takes the time to understand your situation and structure financing that actually fits the way your business operates.
Finance the equipment and vehicles your business needs to grow.
From tools and machinery to trucks and work vehicles, Firefighters First Credit Union offers financing to help your business acquire what it needs now and pay for it over time at competitive rates.
Equipment loans.
Finance tools, machinery and other qualifying business assets with extended terms designed to keep monthly payments manageable while the equipment generates revenue for your business.
Business vehicle loans.
Finance trucks, vans, cars and other commercial or heavy-duty work vehicles. Keep business and personal finances cleanly separated with a dedicated vehicle loan.
Extended terms available.
Equipment and vehicle loans are structured with extended repayment terms to help you put assets to work without straining your monthly cash flow.
Access capital when you need it.
A Business Line of Credit gives you revolving access to working capital up to your approved limit. Draw what you need, repay it and draw again. Interest is charged only on what you carry, making it a cost-effective tool.
Keep business spending separate and earn rewards.
A Business Visa® credit card gives you a dedicated line for operating expenses, keeping business and personal spending clearly separate. A smart complement to a term loan for businesses that need flexibility on everyday purchases.
Boost your income with an investment property loan.
Buy your first rental, finance a commercial building or start a new development. Firefighters First Credit Union offers flexible investment property loans for the Fire Family.
Make the station feel like home.
An unsecured loan available to Firefighters First Credit Unon fire station group members, designed to finance the shared amenities and equipment your department does not provide.
Build the place you’ve been planning.
A flexible construction and development loan that helps members finance a new build, major renovation, or ground up project with confidence from blueprint to move in, then converts to a standard mortgage.
Everything you need to know about business loans.
Who is eligible for a Business Loan?
You must be a Firefighters First Credit Union member with an active business membership. Business membership is required before any funding can occur.
What documents do I need to apply?
You will need your current business income statement and business federal tax returns. Your personal credit will also be reviewed as part of the underwriting process.
What types of equipment qualify for an equipment loan?
Equipment Loans are available for vehicles and equipment used for business purposes, including commercial, heavy-duty and fuel-efficient vehicles as well as tools, machinery and other qualifying business assets.
What is the difference between a Business Loan and a Business Line of Credit?
A business loan delivers a fixed lump sum repaid over a set term, making it well suited for a specific one-time purchase such as equipment or a vehicle. A line of credit is revolving, meaning you draw and repay repeatedly up to your approved limit, making it better suited for ongoing or unpredictable working capital needs.
Business membership required before funding.
All loans subject to Firefighters First policies and program guidelines. Equipment loans are available for vehicles used for business purposes: commercial, heavy-duty, fuel-efficient, etc.
Subject to credit approval.
