Do I need to be a Costco member to use the Costco Auto Program?
You need to be both a Firefighters First Credit Union and Costco member to access the program. The $65 Costco Shop Card incentive is available to current eligible Costco members who also finance through Firefighters First.
Do I have to finance with Firefighters First Credit Union to use the program?
Yes. You need to be a Firefighters First Credit Union member to access the program and must finance your Costco Auto Program vehicle purchase with Firefighters First Credit Union to receive the $65 Costco Shop Card incentive.
Can I use the program to buy a used vehicle?
Yes. The program includes select pre-owned vehicles at participating dealers. Pre-owned purchases also qualify for the parts, service and accessories coupon when you complete the Member Satisfaction Survey.
How do I receive the $65 Costco Shop Card?
Complete the Costco Auto Program Member Satisfaction Survey within 30 days of your purchase date. Costco distributes the Shop Card approximately two months after your vehicle purchase. The card has no cash value and cannot be substituted.
What if I live outside of California?
The program is available nationwide through participating dealers. Some restrictions apply for out-of-state purchases. Contact us or stop by a branch to explore your options.
* Must be a Firefighters First Credit Union member, a Costco member, locate a participating dealer through Costco Auto Program and meet with the Authorized Dealer Contact to be eligible. Firefighters First Credit Union loan funding required as well as completion of a Costco Auto Program Member Satisfaction Survey within 30 days of purchase. Current eligible Costco members receive a $65 Costco Shop Card. No substitutions. Not redeemable for cash. Incentive will be paid by Costco to members two months after vehicle purchase. Costco is fully responsible for distributing all shop cards. Costco and its affiliates do not sell automobiles or negotiate individual transactions. All new cars arranged for sale are subject to availability and a price prearranged with the participating franchised new car dealer. Certain vehicles may be excluded from the program. A participation fee has been paid by the dealers participating in Costco Auto Program. New Firefighters First Credit Union accounts opened are subject to our normal approval process.
