What is two-factor authentication (2FA)?

Two-factor authentication (2FA) requires you to verify your identity using two pieces of information: your password and a second code delivered to your phone, email, or an authenticator app. Even if someone obtains your password, they cannot access your account without that second factor.

How to enable 2FA in Online Banking.

  1. Log in to Online Banking.
  2. Click My Settings on the top-right navigation.
  3. Under Login & Security, click “Edit” next to Security options
  4. Choose how you would like to receive your 2FA code: phone, authenticator app, or email.

If you are new to two-factor authentication (2FA), we recommend choosing phone or email to receive your one-time codes.
