Rewards are simple, automatic and never expire. Here’s what to expect from the moment you earn to the moment you redeem.
Rewards are allocated monthly.
Cashback earned on purchases made during the prior month appears as available rewards on the first of the following month. October purchases appear on November 1, for example.
Redeem anytime. No minimum required.
You can redeem up to your full available rewards balance at any time through Digital Banking. There is no minimum redemption amount and no deadline to use what you have earned.
Your statement tracks it all.
Your monthly account statement includes your available cashback totals so you always know exactly what you have earned and what is ready to redeem.
Rewards never expire.
There is no deadline to redeem your cashback. What you earn stays available until you choose to use it, with no expiration date and no penalty for waiting.

Easily redeem your available cashback through Digital Banking. Once submitted, funds are typically deposited into your Firefighters First checking or savings account within two business days. If you have multiple cards, a separate request is required for each.

How do I earn cashback?
You earn cashback automatically on purchases of goods and services. Cashback is not earned on PIN-based transactions, ATM transactions, cash advances, balance transfers or cash equivalents such as cashier checks, money orders or prepaid gift cards. When are my rewards available to redeem?
Rewards are allocated in Digital Banking on the first day of every month, reflecting purchases made during the prior month. A purchase made on October 15 will be available for redemption starting November 1.
How do I redeem my rewards?
Log in to Digital Banking, select Self-Service Forms from the top navigation or through “More” and choose Cashback Redemption Request. Funds are deposited into your Firefighters First checking or savings account within two business days.
Do cashback rewards expire?
No. Your cashback rewards never expire.
I have both a credit card and a debit card. Can I combine my rewards?
You will need to submit a separate redemption request for each card. However, all redeemed cashback from both cards will be deposited into the same Firefighters First checking or savings account.
Can I earn cashback on my eChecking debit card purchases?
Yes. eChecking debit cardholders earn 0.50% cashback on eligible purchases, the same rate as the Visa® Classic Credit Card.
