The Supervisory Committee is an independent body appointed by the Board of Directors to provide oversight of credit union operations and ensure financial integrity. They operate separately from management and the Board of Directors, acting as an impartial resource for members who have a concern that has not been resolved through normal channels.
Ron Jackson
Ron joined the Board of Directors in 2012 and currently serves as Supervisory Committee Chair. He retired from the Los Angeles Fire Department after more than 34 years, holding roles including Engineer, Inspector, Captain, and Battalion Chief. He also served as Board Director, Treasurer, and Business Manager for the LAFD Chief Officers Association. Ron holds degrees in Information Technology and Public Administration from California State University Northridge. He is married with two daughters.
Sharon Draper
Sharon Draper
Sharon has served Firefighters First Credit Union for over 20 years as both an employee and volunteer. She spent more than 10 years as Executive Assistant to the Board and CEO, gaining a deep appreciation for the dedication of leadership. She has served on the Supervisory Committee for 15 years and currently holds the role of Secretary. As an elected representative, Sharon is honored to contribute her experience to help ensure the ongoing safety and soundness of the credit union.
Bryan Nassour
Bryan Nassour
Bryan serves as Secretary of the Supervisory Committee and brings valuable knowledge, experience, and education to the role. He holds an Associate degree in Fire Science from Los Angeles Valley College, a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University, and a Master’s in Emergency Services from California State Long Beach. Bryan currently serves as a Captain in the Fire Prevention Bureau Brush Clearance Unit.
