Dixie Abramian has been part of Firefighters First Credit Union since 1992, beginning her career as a teller while earning her bachelor’s degree in finance from California State University, Northridge. After serving in a wide range of roles across the organization, she was named President and CEO in 2017, bringing a deep understanding of the credit union, its members, and the Fire Family it serves.

As President and CEO, Dixie leads the credit union’s strategic direction and long-term growth with a focus on member experience, culture, and impact. She holds an Executive MBA from Pepperdine University and professional designations including Certified Strategy Executive and Certified Marketing Executive.

Richard Dillon joined Firefighters First Credit Union in 2016 as Chief Financial Officer and oversees the organization’s finance and accounting functions. He brings decades of executive experience across credit unions, insurance, healthcare, banking, mortgage banking, and technology operations, helping guide the credit union’s financial strength and long-term growth.

Richard holds an MBA, a master’s degree in technology management from Pepperdine University, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He is also a licensed CPA and holds the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter designation.

Jeffrey Staw joined Firefighters First Credit Union in 2024 as Chief Information and Innovation Officer, bringing more than two decades of leadership in digital transformation, innovation, and technology strategy. He helps lead how the credit union uses technology to enhance member experience, strengthen operations, and support continued growth.

Before joining the credit union, Jeffrey served in executive roles across financial services, fintech, digital marketing, federal research and development, and national security systems. He holds an MBA and a master’s degree in management information systems from Boston University and a bachelor’s degree in human factors engineering from Tufts University.

David Lillie joined Firefighters First Credit Union in 2012 and now serves as Senior Vice President of Member Experience. He leads key areas that shape how members engage with the credit union, including branches, the virtual branch, lending, operations, payments, and facilities, while also supporting the organization’s nationwide growth.

Before joining the credit union, David built more than a decade of experience in consumer and real estate lending and professional services staffing. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from California State University, San Bernardino and an MBA from Pepperdine University.

Kristen Renee joined Firefighters First Credit Union in 2026 as Senior Vice President of Strategy. In this role, she helps lead strategic planning and enterprise initiatives that support growth, innovation, and long-term member value.

Before joining Firefighters First Credit Union, Kristen held leadership roles across mortgage lending, commercial lending, finance and treasury, and strategy. She earned a Bachelor of Science in biology from Eastern Washington University and an MBA in finance from Arizona State University.

David Panko joined Firefighters First Credit Union in 2024 as Senior Vice President of Wealth Management. He brings more than 30 years of experience across financial services, investment advisory, and business leadership, helping lead the credit union’s wealth management strategy with a focus on long-term planning and personalized guidance.

David is a Certified Financial Planner professional whose career reflects a strong commitment to helping clients make confident financial decisions.

LaVonne Olsen joined Firefighters First Credit Union in 2026 as Senior Vice President of People Experience, bringing more than 30 years of human resources leadership experience. She leads the credit union’s people strategy, with a focus on employee experience, organizational growth, and learning and development.

Before joining the credit union, LaVonne served as Chief Human Resources Officer for a community bank in the Pacific Northwest. She holds a degree in business administration with a focus on finance and is SHRM Senior Certified Professional certified.

Joe Boeser joined Firefighters First Credit Union in 2022 as Senior Vice President of Enterprise Risk Management. He leads the credit union’s governance strategy, overseeing areas including enterprise risk, compliance, fraud management, vendor management, and legal oversight to support the organization’s safety and long-term resilience.

Joe brings more than 15 years of risk management experience, including leadership roles in financial services and consulting. He holds a Juris Doctor, an MBA, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Creighton University, along with the Credit Union Enterprise Risk Management Expert designation.
