Frequently Asked Questions About Our Retreat for Firefighter Couples
Who is this couples retreat for?
This couples retreat is designed for fire couples: firefighters and their spouses or partners and is an event to attend together. The experience is built around shared learning, reflection, and connection.
Can I attend alone?
No. The experience is designed for couples to participate together from start to finish.
My partner is hesitant. How can I encourage them to attend?
It’s common for one partner to feel unsure at first. This retreat is not about blame or ‘fixing’ anyone but about strengthening your relationship, building tools together, and creating space to reconnect away from daily stress.
Is this retreat therapy?
This retreat is educational and experiential, not therapy. While it may feel deeply meaningful, it is designed to provide tools, insights and connection, not clinical treatment.
What kinds of couple retreat activities are included?
The agenda includes workshops, guided discussions, couple-focused activities, wellness experiences, time with other couples attending the retreat, and free time to relax and reconnect together.
What can we expect from the retreat?
You can expect a comfortable environment centered around honest conversations and time together.
How do we get to the retreat location?
You should take care of transportation arrangements to and from the retreat yourselves. Travel expenses are not included in the registration fee.
When is payment due?
To reserve your spot, pay the $750 registration fee at the time of registration.
Is the registration fee refundable?
No. Because space is limited and retreat planning happens in advance, registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
We registered but cannot attend. Can we still get our money back?
We know plans can sometimes change unexpectedly. However, due to limited availability and planning commitments, registration payments cannot be refunded or transferred.
