When to use secure email.
Use Secure Email to share sensitive account information with us. Safe channels include Secure Email within Online Banking or the FireFirstCU mobile app, a branch visit, or a phone or video call that you initiate with our team.
Never share confidential account information through your personal email account or during a phone call you did not place.
How to access secure email.
Secure Email is available in two places:
- Within Online Banking from a computer
- Through the FireFirstCU mobile app
Sending and receiving messages in Online Banking.
Send a Message
- Log in to Online Banking.
- Select Support in the upper right.
- Click Secure Email.
- Choose New Message.
- Complete your message and click Submit.
Receive a Message
- Log in to Online Banking.
- Select Support in the upper right.
- Click Secure Email.
- Choose Check Message Status.
- Select Open or Pending from the dropdown to check for responses.
- Click the ticket to open the message.

- Log in to the FireFirstCU mobile app.
- Tap the More menu.
- Tap Secure Email under Additional Services.
- Choose New Message.
- Complete your message and click Submit.
Receive a Message
- Log in to the FireFirstCU mobile app.
- Tap the More menu.
- Tap Secure Email under Additional Services.
- Choose Check Message Status.
- Select Open or Pending from the dropdown to check for responses.
- Click the ticket to open the message.

About the Barracuda Message Center.
You may receive a Secure Email notification to the personal email address associated with your Firefighters First membership. This notification will direct you to the Barracuda Message Center, which we use to encrypt emails at the highest security levels.
What to expect from Barracuda notifications:
- If you are expecting a response and do not see a noreply@barracuda.com message in your inbox, check your spam folder
- The sender address will appear as noreply@barracuda.com
- Follow the instructions in the message—you will see a Firefighters First sender address and a link to the Barracuda Message Center
- First-time users will be prompted to create a username and password
- Use the Barracuda Message Center to respond—do not reply through your personal email, online banking, or the mobile app outside of the Message Center
- Messages are deleted from the Barracuda Message Center after 30 days
