Here is how the fire station loan works.
A simple, station-based loan structure built around your crew size and shift schedule. Here is what to expect before you apply.
Loan amount is based on your station size.
The maximum loan amount is $1,500 per position assigned to the station, up to $25,000 total. For example, six positions across three shifts means a maximum of $18,000 for that station.
Three signatures are required to apply.
The loan requires a House Dues Representative and two Captain signatures from different shifts, keeping the process grounded in the station structure and the crew’s shared commitment.
A fixed rate and a straightforward term.
The rate is 4.99% APR with a maximum term of 36 months. A $2,500 loan at 4.99% APR for 36 months results in 36 payments of $74.92.
